Meet the Founder

Nelita Rosario

I didn't need more information. I needed somewhere to put it into practice.

For years, I thought the answer was more information.

Another book.

Another podcast.

Another course.

Another workshop.

Another social media post saved for later.

Like many people, I invested heavily in personal development.

I bought the books, listened to the podcasts, attended the workshops and collected the tools.

I knew what confidence looked like.

I understood boundaries.

I knew the importance of reflection, self-care and wellbeing.

The problem wasn't a lack of information. The problem was applying it.

Knowing what to do and actually doing it are two very different things.

I found myself highlighting pages I never returned to, saving posts I never revisited and collecting tools I knew would help but struggled to use consistently in everyday life.

What I needed wasn't more information. I needed somewhere to slow down and reflect.

Somewhere to test ideas and develop new habits. Somewhere to practise. Somewhere to be accountable. Somewhere to learn, adjust and keep going when life inevitably got in the way.

When I wanted that kind of support, coaching often felt financially out of reach.

When life became more difficult and I needed counselling, I discovered another challenge; support was often focused on times of crisis, and waiting for help could take months.

Even when practical tools and resources were available, I was often left to work out how to apply them on my own.

Over time, I realised there was a gap.

A gap between information and action.

A gap between learning and doing.

A gap between knowing and practising.

A gap between crisis support and everyday personal growth.

And I wasn't the only person sitting in that gap.

Growing up in a working-class, single-parent household in South Africa and later building a life and career in the UK, I learned early how to adapt, persevere and create opportunities. I became a qualified chartered accountant and built a career helping people and organisations solve problems, develop and move forward.

But the most important lesson I learned wasn't about finance or business.

It was that sustainable growth rarely happens through information alone.

It happens through reflection. Through practice. Through accountability. Through connection.

Through having the space and support to keep showing up for yourself, even when progress feels slow.

So I stopped looking for the thing that would finally make everything click.

I stopped looking for the right room. I decided to create one.

The Potential Room was built to be the space I couldn't find.

A place where people can learn without pressure.

Reflect without judgement.

Practice without perfection.

Connect without pretending.

And grow without needing to be in crisis.

That's why The Potential Room isn't just one room. It's a collection of rooms, each designed to support a different part of the journey.

A room to reflect.

A room to learn.

A room to practice.

A room to stay accountable.

A room to explore.

And a room to grow.

Because information alone rarely changes lives.

What changes lives is what happens when knowledge is given the space to become action.

No crisis required. No perfect version of you required.

Just a space to pause. A room to grow.
